BUYING OPPORTUNITIES DIMINISH

If you look back over my past articles / Blogs, you will see that what I have been predicting is, in fact, "in the works". Things have taken a brisk up -turnin our marketplace! The return of consumer confidence has allowed people to discover some amazing deals, respectively.
Again, As of today, May 7, 2010, things seem to be very much on the mend with our marketplace. As always, the simple principle of supply v. demand is most important, and basic economics. People have seemed to start to "wake up" and smell opportunities. The empirical data is there (email me for a market update of homes under agreement, or recently sold at mark@mmavalon.com) Things are moving at a more rapid clip again, and we appear to be headed to an much stronger market in 2010. It's funny, by the time most people realize or "hear" there are good deals to be had, many are already gone. I have some very nervy Buyers, and it's going to end up paying off (pun intended) in the future. We all know this is true.
Of course we have had rougher seas, for about the past 5 years. However, it truly does appear the tide is turning.
Many people became very wealthy in the Gold Rush of the 1800's, but many were left in the end "missing it" and left with just dust, not heavy, beautiful, valuable gold dust.
When the dust settles in our market, as it is doing now, those who purchase now will be satisfied greatly later. This is my personal and professional belief.
Now is a pivotal time. I see the savvy are looking, and buying, and I think they will end up doing very well. I personally have sold quite a number of homes recently. My listings are getting shown frequently, and there is DEFINITELY more activity than in a very long time. Looks like the fear is diminishing, the excitement building, and the buying mode is back for many.
